LODI - Florence Brown, age 93, passed away on Wednesday, March 23, 2011. She was born on February 5, 1918 the daughter of Carl H. and Margaret (Neill) Lichte on the Quietdale farm in rural Lodi. Florence graduated from Lodi High School in 1935. On August 23, 1938 she was united in marriage to Roy A. 'Pat' Brown. She was a very active lifelong member of First Presbyterian Church in Lodi. Her passion for her faith and her family were the focus of her life. Florence is survived by her children, James (Marcia) Brown of Lodi, Linda (Herbert) Damsteegt of DeForest, Thomas (Elizabeth) Brown of Lodi, and Donna (David) Rimple of Pulaski; nine grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren with two more expected soon. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Pat; a brother, Ray (Miriam) Lichte; a grandson, Andy Thiem; and her granddaughter, Tammy Sue Brown. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 26, 2011 at FIRST PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH in Lodi, with the Rev. Paula Bremer officiating.
