Jackie Lee Taylor

MONONA-Jackie Lee Taylor, age 69, passed away on Monday, March 28, 2011 at home surrounded by family after a two and a half year battle with cancer. She was born on Oct. 28, 1941, the daughter of John and Agnes (McGinnity) Dunn. She attended Mineral Point schools. Jackie was united in marriage to Bob Taylor on July 2, 1988. Together, with her husband, they operated the Jolly Tavern for several years. She also worked at ShopKo, Kresces, and most recently at Rossarios. Jackie enjoyed bowling, camping, bingo and just loved to have a good time. Jackie is survived by her children, Keith (Paulette) Liddicoat of DeForest, Kristie (Mark) Hermanson of McFarland, Jeff (Lourdes) Taylor of Madison, Patricia (Roger) Weber of Oregon; James Taylor of Madison; grandchildren, Roger (April), Randy and Camille; great-grandchildren, Randel and Robert; sisters, Jean (Bob) McCarville of Janesville, and Pat (Eldon) Yanna of Mineral Point; and extended family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Taylor. A memorial gathering will take place at Angelos, 5801 Monona Dr., Monona, from 2 p.m. until 6 p.m. on Sunday, April 3, 2011.
