Braxton, Martel D. "Bobo"
JANESVILLE-Martel D. "Bobo" Braxton Jr., 20 months, left us way too early, on Friday, April 15, 2011, to be with his Heavenly Father. He attended Montessori Day Care in Janesville since he was six weeks old. Martel always wore a smile and had a playful side to him. With just a look, he won your heart! In his short life he had a loving mother, Robyn Ogburn; loving father, Martel D. Braxton Sr.; Brother, Joshua Ivory; sisters, LaReissia and Kelee Braxton; maternal grandmother, Bernice Jiles; paternal grandfather, Don Braxton; paternal grandmother, LaReissia Champagne; special uncle, Bryant Jiles; many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Robert Ogburn. Funeral services will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Dr., Madison, at 11 a.m. on Thursday, April 21, 2011. Burial will follow atRoselawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until the time of the service on Thursday.

Although I did not work with Martel I do work with Josh and my heart just breaks for your whole family. When ever I saw Martel he had a BIG smile on his face. Please know that your Montessori family is thinking and praying for you. If you need anything we are here for you. Gods peace be with you all.

My heart goes out to you, Joshua, and all your family. Losing a child is a very difficult thing that no words can even begin to express and I cannot tell you enough how much your family is in everyones thoughts and prayers. When someone you love becomes a memory, that memory becomes a treasure. Martel will always be treasured in our hearts here at Montessori. Please know we are here for you if you need anything.

Martel was a good friend to Raya. When we were at home, Raya spoke of Martel and always said "Martel nice. Martel funny."
