Floyd Hudson

POYNETTE - Floyd Hudson, age 80, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 5, 2011 at Meriter Hospital. He was born on February 9, 1931 the son of Floyd and Evelyn (Ferguson) Hudson. Floyd served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict and was a proud member of the Poynette V.F.W. Post. Floyd is survived by his loving soulmate of 30 years, Sally Lohr; his six children, Cheryl Gerald, Charlene Nibert, Curt Hudson, Georgette Schmidt, Ginger (Craig) Prucha and Charles Hudson; Sally's three children, Luanne (Kip) Platt, Harold (Linda) Lohr and Darcy Lohr; 19 grandchildren with one more on the way; and fourteen great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd and Evelyn Hudson; a brother, Joseph; son-in-law Jim Schmidt; and a grandson, Ryan. Funeral services will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Monday, May 9, 2011 at the HAMRE FUNERAL HOME in Lodi, with Pastor Dan Pulsfus officiating. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until the service. Interment will be at Dekorra Lutheran Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials to the family would be appreciated.
