Over the years she enjoyed polka and square dancing, bowling at Schwoegler’s, water aerobics at the West YMCA, tending her raspberry patch and flower gardens, and schooner sailing with her friends Tom and Clara Church. She also loved to travel, with some of her favorite trips being to Sault Ste. Marie, the Canadian Rockies, New Orleans, Branson, Las Vegas, New York and Hawaii. She is survived by her husband; a daughter, Cheryl (Mike) Majerus of Fitchburg; sons, Tom (Sandy) Geier of Madison, Steve (Connie) Geier of Belleville and David (Sheila) Geier of Middleton; and four grandchildren, Mandy and Kyle Majerus, Sam Geier and Jeremy Goecks-Majerus. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Donald, Charles and Peter; and a sister, Eleanor. She will be dearly missed by her surviving brother, Julius (Karen) Julson; and sisters Marion (Frank) Lake, Helen Kottka and Linda (Doug) Phillips; as well as many relatives, neighbors and friends.
