Christopher Joseph Engen Rickerson

MADISON- Christopher Joseph Engen Rickerson, our beloved precious son, tragically died unexpectedly on Tuesday, Aug. 2, 2011, at the age of 22. He had been struggling for the last five years with alcoholism and recently mental illness that has grasped his life and overtook him. He fought his battles and he had demons, but the demons he could not release. All the people who loved him tried so hard to help him and feared this would be the outcome. Christopher was a brilliant, loving, sensitive young man who we thought could grasp the world but never got the chance. Words can not describe the pain and emptiness now that he is gone. His mother was his best friend and she promised him she would always always be there for him no matter what. Christopher is survived by his parents, Sally and Rob Rickerson; brothers, Joshua (Aubrey) and Tyler; grandparents, Judy and Jerry Stueber; and many loving family members, especially Uncle Jerome.
