Fredrick Michael Breunig

Breunig, Fredrick Michael Middleton--Fredrick Michael Breunig, 74, of Middleton passed away on July 29, 2011. He was born in Roxbury, the oldest son of Herbert and Esther Breunig. An avid outdoorsman, Fred was happiest outside with the sun on his back. He was passionate about his family, and encouraged his children to follow their dreams. He was the eternal optimist, and found the best in everyone. His joys were sneaking away with the Brabender boys for a weekend of hunting and camaraderie, and the lifelong friendship he shared with his brother Danny. His kindness was his strength, and his laughter will be missed around the fireside. He leaves his wife of 40 years Judith, his son Kevin, daughter Kathryn, as well as his two Granddaughters Kilee and Shannon. Fred is survived by his siblings, Daniel Breunig, Fr. Rudolph Breunig, Nadine Schwab, Joan Vobora, his God Son Kent Schwab, and several other nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church, 7450 University Ave., Middleton, at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 2, 2011. Burial will be in Roxbury Cemetery. A visitation will be held at the GUNDERSON WEST FUNERAL HOME, 7435 University Ave., on Monday, August 1, 2011 from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. and on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at the church.
