Katherine 'Kay' Scholl

MADISON-Katherine “Kay” Scholl, age 70, of Stoughton, passed away at home on Sunday, Sept. 4, 2011, surrounded by friends, and her 3 Great Danes. Born on Feb. 14, 1941, in Beverly, Mass., Kay was the youngest child of Thomas Lawrence and Eliza (Seward) Donlon. Kay was employed at WEAC for 27 years. She was a member of the Badger Kennel Club where she was an instructor and former president. Kay was the founder of the Great Dane Rescue in Dane County. She is survived by her sister, Rita Padjen of Salem, MA, 3 nieces, 2 nephews and countless friends. Kay was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers. A celebration of Kay’s life will be held at BADGER KENNEL CLUB, 5925 Haase Rd, DeForest, WI from 11 am to 2 pm on Sept. 17, 2011. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Great Dane Rescue of Wisconsin, UW-Madison School of Veterinary Medicine or Badger Kennel Club.
