Loza Dolson

LODI - Loza Dolson, age 91, went to heaven to meet her loved ones on Sunday, August 7, 2011. Mom they will welcome you with open arms, no more pain just happiness. Loza was born May 20, 1920 the eighth child to Hugh and Catherine (Skelton) Carberry. She was only 14 when she left Lodi to go to beauty school in Milwaukee. A few years later she moved back and went to work in a salon. In this salon is where she met her future husband. Loza and Harvey Dolson were married in August of 1939. They raised four children. Together they owned and operated Fisk's Tavern. In 1965 Loza went to work at the Lodi Enterprise and she loved her job. She is survived by her son, Dale and his sons, Tim (Theresa) and Dan (Michelle) and their five children; her daughter, Hollie Haupt and her two children, Robin and Ric and one child; her son, Joe (Judy); and one sister, Ione Caughlin. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harvey; her first born son, Bill; a grandson, Michael; daughter-in-law, Joyce; twin great-granddaughters, Kassandra and Samantha; eight siblings and their spouses. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 10, 2011 at ST. PATRICK'S CATHOLIC CHURCH with Fr. Francisco Higuera officiating. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the Mass at the church. Interment will be at St. Patrick's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials to Home Health United Hospice. Dale and Hollie want to thank all from Home Health United Hospice and the Good Samaritan Society for all you did for Mom.
