Elizabeth (Moen) Nyberg

MADISON-Elizabeth (Moen) Nyberg, age 52, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, Aug. 22, 2011. She was born on May 25, 1959, in Monroe. Elizabeth was a graduate of East High School in Madison and worked as a medical assistant after graduating from MATC. She is survived by her son, Nicholas Nyberg; her mother, Anita Moen; sisters, Diana Moen and Gail Cerridwen; niece, Satya Conger; nephew, Lance Conger; uncle, Robert Moen; aunts, Arlene Wyckoff and Carol Long; and many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her son, Garrett Nyberg; and father, Gene Russell Moen. A memorial service will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Drive, Madison, at 1 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 1, 2011. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from noon until the time of service on Thursday. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to NAMI (The National Alliance for the Mentally Ill of Dane County).
