Obituary
Foreyt, Jerry MADISON-Jerry Foreyt, age 62, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, Sept. 4, 2011. He was born on Dec. 3, 1948, in Madison, to Vivian and Leta (Knoke) Foreyt. Jerry is survived by his wife, Jackie; son, Jason (Rebecca); three step-daughters, Jennifer (John) Cook, Stephanie (Matt) Hafermann, and Kristine Jaeke; ten grandchildren; brothers, George and Kevin; and sister, Ellen. He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral services will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Dr., Madison, at noon on Saturday, Sept. 10, 2011. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until the time of the service on Saturday.

I didn't knoww Jerry personally but I have lost loved ones in the past and strive to share the same encouragement from the Bible that has helped me. In particular "Jehovah is near to those that are broken at heart and those who are crushed in spirit he saves." Psalms 34:18 May your family get the strength needed during this difficult time. My deepest condolences.

Hi Jackie, This is Stacy Im not sure if you remeber me but you and Jerry use to come into Tony's when I worked on saturdays. Im so sorry for your loss, Jerry was a great guy and very spunky (lol). I have not seen either of you in a long time since i moved but I wanted to extend my deepest sympathy for you and your family, and just say how glad I am that I had the pleasure of knowing Jerry and sharing in some of your laughter togeather.
