SUN PRAIRIE-Nick Adam Thompson, age 19, passed away peacefully on Monday, Sept. 19, 2011. He was born on March 17, 1992, in Madison. He was the son of David Thompson and Tracy Talbot. After being born with a severe medical condition, Nick had a life expectancy of three years. Nick never liked anyone telling him what to do, so he made his own rules and fought heroically everyday. He was a fighter like no other. Nick passed on his own terms. He is survived by his parents. Funeral services will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Drive, Madison, at 11 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 23, 2011. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until the time of service on Friday. A special thank you to Linda Geisinger and all of the medical professionals who cared for Nick.

Hi Dave and Tracy, Just heard the news about Nick. I am so sorry. Hope you are both doing as well as can be expected. I have many fond memories of the time I spent with all of you. You both gave him the best life had to offer. I will remember you all fondly.
