Conchera 'Connie' (Capadona) Pullara

MADISON-Conchera “Connie” (Capadona) Pullara, died Tuesday, Oct. 25, 2011. She joins her husband, John, who passed away this April. They were married for over 75 years. Connie was born on Feburary 21, 1914. She grew up in the Greenbush area of Madison. Her parents, Vito and Ninfa Capadona, owned the popular Bunky’s Restaurant at Spaghetti Corners at Regent and Park Streets. Connie is survived by her daughter, Phyllis (Jim) Pullara Johnson; son, Anthony (Gail) Pullara; grandchildren, Kerri (Bill) Shannon, Jim (Dottie) Johnson, Jr., Ross Johnson, Teresa T. T. Ann (Rachid) Pullara Ouabel, and Lori Pullara; great-grandchildren, Erin, Jamie Shannon and Chance Johnson; and brother, George (Betty) Capadona. Connie dearly loved her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and her dog, Sadie. A memorial celebration for family and friends will be held Tuesday, Nov. 1, 2011 from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. at Bunky’s Café, 2425 Atwood Avenue, Madison. A special thanks to the staff of Mary Anne’s Elderhouse who treated her with much love, respect and care. We would also like to thank Agrace HospiceCare for their care.
