Alice Krinke

LODI-Alice Yvonne Krinke, age 91, died on November 24, 2011 at the Lodi Good Samaritan Center. Alice was born on July 7, 1920, in Sandusky, to Harry and Clara (Gonsolin) Jaquish. She was raised in the Lime Ridge area and graduated from Lime Ridge High School. Alice attended Sauk County Normal School until meeting Gilbert Krinke, who preceded her in death on September first of this year. They were married in Lime Ridge on November 4, 1939 and moved to Lodi in 1942. Alice was active in the Lodi Garden Club and First Lutheran Church. For several years she was a librarian at the Lodi Library. She and Gilbert traveled extensively. Alice is survived by her son Jim (Linda) Krinke, granddaughter, Teresa (Danny) Cheatham, grandson, Chris (Lori) Krinke, nine great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. Also surviving are sisters, Rosalie Meyer, Annabelle Leigh, Barb Fosnow and brother Ted Jaquish. She was also preceded in death by an infant son Richard, infant daughter Mary and a sister Betty Hineman. Funeral services will be held at FIRST LUTHERAN CHURCH, 206 Pleasant St., Lodi at 2:00 PM on Sunday, November 27, 2011. Burial will be in County Line Cemetery. Visitation will be on Sunday from 12:30 PM until the time of the service at the church.
