Obituary
MADISON- Charles J. “Chuck” Hadrich, age 71, of Madison, passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 20, 2011, at Agrace HospiceCare surrounded by his loving family. He was born on Sept. 9, 1940, in Duluth, Minn., the son of Floyd and Virginia (Thompson) Hadrich. Chuck served his country in the U.S. Army and was stationed in Germany. He retired from Dairy Equipment (BouMatic) after working in cost accounting. Chuck had a love of sports, especially football, hockey, softball, bowling and basketball. He enjoyed vacations and trips on a tank. Most of all, Chuck loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife, Cheryl; children, Kelly Rae Kroning, Lisa (Daryl) Klemp, Kelly Jo (Jemal) Massie and Christopher Hadrich; grandchildren, Mallorie, Cassidy and Devin Klemp, Jasmine Brannam, Jordan and James Massie, Kayela Whitmore and a grandson arriving soon. Chuck was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Susie Froyum. Memorial services will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Drive, Madison, at 6 p.m., on Monday, Dec. 26, 2011. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 4 p.m. until the time of service on Monday. The family would like to thank the 11th floor staff at Meriter Hospital, Nazareth Rehabilitation Center and Agrace HospiceCare Center for all their care. Chuck, your conversation and zest for life will be deeply missed.

Such a sad loss. I'll miss giving him a hard time and making him laugh ( & him making em laugh too).

I am sorry for your loss of a good husband, father, grandpa....Chuck was a great guy- with a wonderful smile & laugh. He always made me feel just a little better whenever I saw him & got one of his hugs. I feel like I've known him my whole life- since my teen yrs anyways! He left his imprint on the world & I'm sure there are lots of folks touched by him. He'd want everyone to feel peace & warmth right now- even in the sadness of losing him. I just got word and was very sorry
to hear of Chuck's passing. Chuck and I played hockey in high school and hung around together some of the time.As has been said before if we focus on the good times it makes these darker times easier to handle.

I was very close to Chuck in Wilson highschool in St Paul, we played football together and we were close friends. I'll tell the Lord he has a great right tackle coming to see him. I will miss Chuck.
