Robert William 'Bob' Bultman

MADISON-Robert William “Bob” Bultman, age 90, passed away peacefully on Friday, Feb. 17, 2012, at Oak Park Place Assisted Living. Bob was born on Sept. 13, 1921, in Madison, the son of William and Ida Bultman. He graduated from Madison East High School in 1940, and served in the U.S. Army Air Corps in England and France from 1942 until 1945. He earned his B.A. degree from UW-Madison in 1949. Bob worked in Madison for most of his career as an industrial engineer at Gisholt (later called Giddings and Lewis). He was an avid golfer and proud to have recorded a hole in one. Bob is survived by his four children, Tom, Susan, Mark, and Amy; and six grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marilyn Pfister Bultman; brothers, Dale (Jeannine), Eldon (Joan), James (Ellen); and a sister, Dorothy (Harold) Buckley. Private burial was held at Forest Hill Cemetery. A special thank you to Oak Park Place, Agrace HospiceCare, Robert Neiman, Linda Watson, Nicole Payne, and many wonderful people who helped Bob in his last years.
