Brown, Benjamin O. 'Ben'

MADISON- Benjamin O. “Ben” Brown, age 94, of Madison, passed away on Monday, March 5, 2012 in Madison. He was born on April 21, 1917, in Michigan, the son of Otto and Martha (Wiese) Brown. He married the former Edith Hansen on January 31, 1958, in Lake Mills. Ben enjoyed being with his family, golfing, and card-playing. He also enjoyed traveling with his wife throughout the United States. He loved Jeopardy and reading a good book. Ben is survived by his wife of 54 years, Edith; his daughter, Suzanne (Philip) Dixon; his son, Gary (Mary Moses); his daughter, Nancy (James) Capaul; his son, James (Teresa); his grandchildren, Jim (Beckie) Capaul, Jeffrey (Kara) Capaul, Kimberly (Randy) Feasel, Adriane (Dan) Andrilik, Elijah Brown, Zachary and Jordan Brown, and Greg Dixon; his seven great-grandchildren; and leaves behind many nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Drive, Madison at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, March 14, 2012. Entombment will be at Roselawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 11 a.m. until the time of services on Wednesday. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
