June R. (Shields) Kerns

OREGON- June R. (Shields) Kerns, age 79, loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 22, 2012 at Beloit Memorial Hospital surrounded by her family. June took great pride in her family and loved spending time with them. June also enjoyed spreading deeds of kindness and giving to others. June is survived by her husband of 58 years, Roland; four children, Alvina Rocque, Dennis Kerns, Cindy (Fred) Schelk and Rhonda (John) Hennessey; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; and three brothers. June was preceded in death by her son, Curtis; six brothers; and two sisters. Funeral services will be held at GUNDERSON OREGON FUNERAL HOME, 1150 Park Street, Oregon, at 6 p.m. on Monday, February 27, 2012, with the Pastor Matt Graf presiding. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 4 p.m. until the time of service on Monday. A special thanks to Clinton EMS, Clinton Police and Beloit Memorial Trauma and ICU staff.
