Clarice Chorlog Quale Christensen

I think of your mom's ever-present grin and welcoming words. I was fortunate to be a rosemaling student of hers years ago. She was a patient teacher, really wanting you to succeed and enjoy her love of the process. I treasure the pieces I have, one that I had bought for my grandma and now have back hanging in my home, as well as the spoons she gave me as a wedding gift almost 50 years ago and the spoon she had donated to the class reunion. I'm sorry I won't be at the service honoring her memory in person but will be there in thought.

Sending our sympathy in the loss of your Mother. My Mother and your Dad were first cousins. I always enjoyed seeing Clarice and also admiring her work. We attended the fall dinner at your church a few years ago and she painted my name on a pin she had painted. I will cherish that as a remembrance of her. Thought and prayers to the family.
