Obituary
MADISON- Virginia “Ginny” A. (Lalley) Thielke, age 87, went to heaven to join her beloved husband, Albert L. Thielke and son, John A. Thielke, on Friday, July 20, 2012. She was born on July 9, 1925, in Madison and graduated from Central High School. Ginny and Al were married on May 24, 1947 and they were blessed with five children. After raising her children, she went on to work for the Rennebohm Drug Stores, then Ohmeda Medical retiring in 1990. Ginny was a charter member of St. Dennis Catholic Church. She is survived by her children, Cindy Miller of Madison, Linda Morrissey of Wausau, Jane (J.B.) McEnaney of Brookfield and Joe (Lynn) Thielke of Madison; grandchildren, Chris (fiancé, Andrea) and Andy Miller, Tim (Nadja) Morrissey, Katie McEnaney, Sara (Mark) Wilke and Lauren Thielke; great-grandchild, Tiffany Miller; and many nieces and nephews. Ginny was preceded in death by her parents; and siblings, Daniel Lalley, Genevieve Faust and Irvin Lalley. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at ST. DENNIS CATHOLIC CHURCH, 505 Dempsey Road, Madison, at 11 a.m., on Wednesday, July 25, 2012, with Father Kent Schmitt presiding. Burial will follow at Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service on Wednesday. The family wishes to express a special thank you to the staff on 8SW at St. Mary’s Hospital for all their loving care of Mom.

Oh how I know the ache your heart feels. There are no words that can adequately convey my sympathy. I know how much you loved your mom. You showed the world that love by all the tender care you gave to her both at her home and at yours. You will find some peace in that in the days and months to follow.
Who would have thought that we would be walking the same path so close?.
As you were a great source of comfort for me, I will for you. As you mentioned your mom is now re-united with your dad and brother so is mine to her siblings and parents. We should be happy for them.
After speaking with you yesterday, I went to visit my mom and told her to look for your mom and welcome her.
Know that prayers for strength and peace are being said for you and your family.

Dad called me Saturday morning to tell me the news about your mom. She was so frail - I know that she is now with Al and John. She certainly led her life with strength, humor and courage. We will always remember the kindness she showed to my mom when she was sick. Ginny was blessed with some wonderful children too - I hope you all know that! Harding Street holds many memories for all of us - some tragic but most are wonderful and your mom was big part of those. And, of course, thanks to Ginny for the friendship and support that she gave to my dad for all these years. They leaned on each other - through all the trials and tribulations of growing older. Thanks Ginny - the Korns will miss you!
