I will miss Brian; he was a friendly guy. He loved to fish and hunt and we enjoyed the time we spent with Brian. He and Janine made such a good couple. When we went ice fishing we had a lot of fun with him and had a blast at their wedding. It's tragic Brian has been taken from all of us too soon, especially Janine. Our hearts go out to you and Brian's family and friends. We will keep a tight hold of our warm and happy memories of our lives with Brian. God Bless.

Even though I left Cottage Grove a long time ago, it is still where my heart lies....we were a small group of kids growing up in an even smaller town which made us all close. I remember Jesse Hurley, Brian Wiest, and Chris Miller coming down to the Village Inn on a Saturday morning to razz me relentlessly (which I loved) and one morning, one of them told me they were going shed hunting, and I thought they were looking for a new garage or shop lol!!! Duh!! We all had a good laugh!!! To the entire Wiest family, Brian's close friends, and to all that knew him....hugs and prayers to you all. I hope in time his memory, especially that goofy smile brings more joy than tears. So fill a cooler and catch something or shoot something in his honor, for he would not like life to stop because of him!! And I know he made that Lambeau leap to the bleachers in the sky....RIP Brian ♥
