G. Mary Lord

Dear Lord family: What a legacy in Mary's life. She lives in each one of you. May memories continue to sooth you during this time of loss and beyond. I cannot think of baking any type of bread nor cinnamon rolls but that it goes back to the days on the farm, and how easy your Mom made it seem to finish one meal and begin preparing the next. My Mom, Inez, missed her dearly, and each morel mushroom and blackberry season recalled the thrill of the bounty she and Mary found. I treasure the cast iron griddle my Mom had of Mary's and passed down to me, and the memories it holds. Another fond memory is of her distinct laugh which we enjoyed frequently. She was such a cheerful and sincere woman. God Bless you all.
