Jones, Rose Ellen

LODI-Rose Ellen Jones, age 81, passed away on Monday, October 29, 2012 in Sauk Prairie. She was born on March 4, 1941 in Madison the daughter of Earl R. and Violet (Rice) Slack. Rose Ellen was married to Hartsel Jones on November 3, 1962 in the home of Cecil and Ethel Slack. She had a variety of interests including gardening, sewing, knitting and reading, but treasured most the time spent with her family. Rose Ellen is survived by her children, Jonathan (Nancy) Jones, Tamara (Ronald) Engelberger, Jamie Jones; grandchildren, Alexa, Ryan and Tia Engelberger; a brother Duane Slack and a sister, Jean Ann Kachikis. She was preceded in death by her husband and two brothers, Cecil and Glenn. Funeral services will be held at LAKE WISCONSIN EVANGELICAL FREE CHURCH, N1640 Ryan Rd., Lodi at 2:00 PM on Monday, November 5, 2012 with the Reverend Brian Erickson presiding.
