Bob had a masterful command of the piano keyboard, and was an adept collector of jokes with snappy punch lines. He shared his talents generously with the Downtown Madison Optimist Club. Through the years he lived with multiple myeloma, he kept his cheerful countenance to share with visitors. He was devoted to, and fortun-ate to have the companionship of, his devoted wife, Dorothey. I trust that the weather will cooperate so that I can be back in Madison to see him one last time.

I sang with the Chanters and always enjoyed Bob,s humor. He was a great guy.

I have so many fond memories of my favorite Uncle Robert. From the time I was little teaching me duets on the piano with him - to always telling me funny jokes when we visited for family dinners. We pray that you will find peace and comfort in the knowledge that he is now entertaining our Lord and Savior in heaven and is no longer suffering in any way. We love you all and may God Bless you.
