Paul 'Jack' Edwin Kerr

MADISON-Paul “Jack” Edwin Kerr, age 78, of Madison died on Monday, Jan. 14, 2013 at Agrace HospiceCare, surrounded by family. Paul was born to William and Elizabeth Kerr in Marion, Ohio on April 12, 1934. He married Jo Elaine Reger on July 24, 1962. Together, they had three children. Pamela, John and Jill. He enjoyed golfing, traveling with his children and grandchildren, listening to Motown and big band tunes, and playing cards with his friends. Paul is survived by his daughters, Pamela Kerr and her children, Genevieve and Mari Schutz of Middleton, Jill (Brian) Peacock and their children, Brynn and Brayden of Port Washington; and son, John “Jack” Kerr (friend Jodie), and his children, Paul, Shane, Cassie Jo and Noah of Madison. Paul is also survived by a brother, Louis Kerr of Willits, CA; sisters-in-law, Jan Reger of Middleton and Joan (Ron) Starr of Dodgeville; and a brother-in-law, Richard (Sandy) Reger of Belmont. Paul was preceded in death by his former wife and devoted life time friend Jo; his parents, William and Elizabeth; along with five sisters and four brothers; and son-in-law, Robert Schutz. Funeral services will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Drive, Madison, at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 19, 2013. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 9 a.m. until the time of service on Saturday. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital. The family would like to give a special thank you to the Neurology and Cardiology Staff at St. Mary’s Hospital.
