Family and friends of my dear, dear friend Kathy - I know that Kath was very tormented for the last year or so, and I so, so, so sad that ending her life was the only option she had! She knew her friends and family were there for her, yet her sadness would not let them in. It has always been Teri, Carolyn and Kath, and I don't know how I can ever think of the Three Musketeers any other way. Meeting friends in the 4th grade and continuing that friendship through all of life's journey, it truly a special, special gift and I will always be grateful for that. Kath I hope you have found the peace you were so desperately searching for and that you know how much you will be missed! Teri

One Thanksgiving evening, a few years ago, Kathleen, Susan and Francisca came over to our place for a dinner among friends. We had so much fun, and all of us shared a dish. Kathleen's was a scrumptuous casserole dish, so good we still remember it. We have great memories of this time together, Susan's happiness, and Kathleen's sweet companionship. Our wish is the family's found memories sustain them in this tragic time and thereafter. An empty seat can never be filled. The mind has to take over and fill in the void in the heart. Our heartfelt condoleances to everyone.

I had the privilege of being a friend and co-worker of Kathleen’s. She had the highest degree of work ethic, and worked diligently at every task. She came to the hospital with me when my third grandchild was born in 2004, coincidentally on her birthday. After the hospital visit, we has a party for Kathleen in the office. She always thought of others, and was a pleasure to know. I will deeply miss the knowledge that she is "out there" somewhere, but know she is at peace in the arms of the Lord. He will keep her happy. God bless you Kathleen and your family, who meant everything to you.
