Al was a wonderful spirit. And he was a pretty good book club husband, too. Love and support to the lucky family of this remarkable man.

I am deeply saddened and grieving as Al was my best friend, my mentor, and closely involved in my personal recovery. We had many good times together traveling the country, gambling in Vegas, and presenting workshops to alcohol and drug programs locally and nationally. I know Al is at peace, cheering on the Packers and smiling on all of us

I wish I could be there but know that I am there in thought. I have so many wonderful memories of Uncle Al and our family gatherings. He was a kind and gentle soul who inspired everyone around him. He always had a smile on his face and took everything in around him. He had an amazing sense of humor and adventure. I always looked forward to seeing him and Sharon. The two of them together made every family event special. He will be greatly missed. I feel so fortunate to have had him in my life and will cherish the memories. Love to all of his family and mine that are mourning his loss. Much Love
