Margaret C. (Schuetz) Loomis

MADISON-Margaret C. (Schuetz) Loomis, age 82, passed away on Saturday, June 8, 2013, surrounded by her family. She was born on July 14, 1930, in Madison. Margaret married Roy “Bud” Loomis on May 3, 1947, in Madison. Bud preceded her in death in 1970. Margaret’s life was taking care of her family. She is survived by her children, Linda (Don) Taylor, Tim (Rita) Loomis, Mark (Laura) Loomis, Charles (Kathy) Loomis, Pat Loomis (Jim), Margaret Elmore, Becky (Bob) Stolinas, and Jane (Bob) Loomis-Banta; 19 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; sisters, Phyllis, Barbara, and Janet; brothers, John, Bob, and Les; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bud; son, Roy “Bob” Loomis; daughter, June Loomis; grandsons, Wade Loomis and Bradley Loomis; and brothers, Paul Schuetz and Don Schuetz. A casual potluck gathering in honor of Margaret will be held on Saturday, June 29, 2013, beginning at noon at the American Legion Post 271, 131 W. Washington St, Poynette, WI 53955.
