How saddened I was to see Jean's obituary.I remember many connections with her over the years while she lived here in the Village. I too was an EMT in those early years and my husband, Jerry, has been on the Fire Dept. for 47 years. Jerry's family has long been members at First Church as was Jean. So there are many connections that have helped in providing wonderful memories of her. She was truly one of the most loving and compassionate women I have had the pleasure to know.

Jean was an inspiration and role model for so many students and their families. We were privileged to get to know her more than 45 years ago and to continue to call her "friend" all the years since. She was a beautiful channel for God's love in this world.

We grieve the passing of Jean. She was a great lady and a role model for making a difference in this world. Our condolences to her family.

Hello, Kathy, Beth, Phyllis, Mark, and John - I'm sorry to be reading of your mom's passing. You know what a tremendously happy part of my childhood she was; you all were probably the first family we met in Madison. She was a lot of fun to be around and her smile and good-natured personality were what I remember most as a child. As I grew up, I came to know her as a kind, loving, and generous woman. I know you'll miss her terribly, and I'm sorry she won't be with you anymore, though I know she'll stay in your hearts and memories forever. I send you all my love - Jean
