Hello Barbara, I am so sorry to learn about the death of your husband. Your story so touched me at our Friday lunch gathering in conjunction with our high school reunion. Your courage and strength through the many years that you cared for Jack are amazing and I have often thought of you and your situation since that day. Please accept my condolences and my admiration for being such a strong and loving wife. May you find peace and contentment with your family and friends going forward.
Sincerely,

I read about the death of Jack and had a surge of feelings about Highlands Mendota Beach school. I still live in Madison and would like to connect with Jack's sister, Joan. Joan and I were the only girls named Joan in the class. If what I have gleaned from the Internet, it looks like Joan might be in Colorado. We have a daughter in Fort Collins and one in Durango. I did not know Jack , but he must have been close in age to my sister, Jenna. I am sorry for his loss.
If Joan is interested in communicating, please connect at Joandunn@me.com. Joan Icke Dunn

Barb,
I am so sorry to hear about Jack. I couldn't believe it when I read it in the paper. You two made the perfect couple who loved to have fun. I will always remember the laughs we shared working together at CJ's. Please know that both Brian and I am thinking of you and your family.

Barb, .Mark & Gregg:
It is with sadness that I write this note. You, Barb and Jack were there for me when I needed someone. That was just how the two of you operated. You have a couple of great kids. I remember the many days of laughter and tears that were shared at 5810 Russet Rd. May you all have peace and rest in the days to coome. Jack is indeed with his Savior! Love and prayers to all. I did try to call you Barb but without success. Your phone numbers must have changed. Take care of yourself now~

Oh Barb, my heart is breaking for you and your family today! I have so many fond memories of you and Jack! I will cherish my memories from the dentist office, your visits to see me at the Ixonia Clinic, our run ins at the grocery store and the concert at the high school with the Wisconsin Singers. Lindsey and I just share a moment to honor Jack. I hope you will keep the story that Lindsey wrote of Jack.
Jack will always hold a special spot in our hearts
