Debby, I am so sorry to hear about your Dad...he sounded like one in a million. And I remember, even way back when I was a kid at Nichols School, seeing his eyes twinkle. A beautiful obituary for a man who has left a beautiful legacy for his family. Prayers for all of you. ♥

My husband Bob's funeral was at IHM today. We used to see John brought in every Saturday 5:00 Mass, by a lady. We never formally met. I am very sorry for your loss. God Bless John and his family.

It is with great sadness that I hear of my Fennimore 8th grade teacher/principal's passing. "Mr Keyes" was a mentor and inspiration to all of us during that 1949-52 time. Just a year ago the two of us renewed old acquaintances thanks to daughter, Debby, at the Raymond Assisted Living...a most happy experience for me. My condolences to the family. You have had a one of a kind father, grandfather, uncle and the like. Rest in peace dear teacher. Tom
