MADISON- Christopher Greenwood Williams, age 51, died tragically on Wednesday, Oct. 16, 2013. He was born on June 19, 1962, in Lawrence, Kan., the son of William and Nancy (Greenwood) Williams. Christopher attended Madison West High School with the class of 1980. He enjoyed listening to music, watching thriller movies, painting and other fine art. Christopher had a great love of dogs. He is survived by his parents; sister, Constance (Christopher Gruener) Williams, M.D., of Newton, Mass.; brother, James D. Williams of Madison; and a nephew, Gregory Gruener. He is also survived by his uncles, aunts and many cousins. Memorial services for Christopher will be held at ST. DUNSTAN’S EPISCOPAL CHRUCH, 6205 University Ave., Madison, at 2 p.m., on Saturday, Oct. 26, 2013. Visitation will take place at the church from 1 p.m. until the time of service on Saturday. Chris’ family and friends are invited to an informal potluck celebration of his life at Jim's Shop, 72 N. Bryan St., Madison, beginning at 5:00 after the service. Memorials may be made to the Christopher Williams Memorial Fund at U.W. Credit Union. Online condolences may be made at www.gundersonfh.com.
