MADISON-Edmund A. Jager, age 86, passed away on Dec. 8, 2013. He was born on March 1, 1927, in Poland, the son of Adolf and Matilda (Bayenie) Jager. He married Joan Margaret Leister on Dec. 30, 1967. Edmund is survived by his wife, Joan; children, Edmund F., Michael, Jeannine, John, Karl, and Stephanie; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Dr., Madison, at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 12, 2013. Burial will be at Blooming Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 9:30 until the time of services on Thursday. Online condolences may be made at www.gundersonfh.com.

My deepest sympathy to the Jager Family...Joan, Michael, Jeannine, John, Karl, Stephanie and the grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mr. Jager was always kind and welcoming to me when I visited him with Jeannine. His door was always open and he loved to tell stories of his experiences. I know he will be missed by all those he loved and touched.
