I have to say that Mom was one if my best friends. She gave me a motherly relationship shortly after losing my own, starting back in 1966. She set the example on how to be a loving, caring, and devoted wife and mother. She never had a bad thing to say or a mean streak to show. She will be truly missed in my life, as are her 2 sons, Mike and Dan. Rest in Peace, dear Mom.

She is my best friend and a wonderful Mother. She was there every step of the way caring and nurturing my growing years as well into my adulthood. She is always giving and putting others needs before hers. Mom and Dad lost 2 baby boys and a little girl Mary in the 40's. She was the best baker as she won first place for her "Cherry Iced Cake" in the Southern Wisconsin Contest in the early 1960's! It was Dad's favorite. Even had an article in the paper with her picture. She was so happy as she never won a contest before. She loved to hunt and fish with my Father in the early years before kids. Then spending time at the cabin with the whole family. She loved animals and her kids. Her children were the center of her life as she went without many times so that we could have a loving home and a wonderful childhood. Christmas time was her ultimate favorite making sure us kids got all of our wants Many times her and Dad would have the whole family over for barbeques or Prime RIb Dinners in the winter time. She started a "Coffee Clutch" group on Roigan Terrace in the late 50's. She went snowmobiling with Dad, her brother Will and his wife Joan Coats in minus degree weather across frozen lakes. I thought they were all nuts for enduring extreme cold. She survived raising three little boys while Dad drove truck and was gone most the time. She was happy though. She never complained much. She was a fantastic caregiver. She will always be in my heart and I miss her more than words can express. Good bye Mom. Can't wait for us to be together once more....

Bob & Jane, as my mother would always say, were a Roigan cornerstone, but right in the middle, Jane did much more than hold a coffee clutch, what a solid family. Patty, your mom was gold, Her and Bob reuniting in heaven is like Christmas. Sorry for your loss.

I remember one Christmas Eve in the early morning around 1960, I found Mom on the floor on her hands and knees putting wrapped gifts under the tree, drinking the milk that I left for Santa and the cookies that I left for Santa were placed back into the cookie tin. I asked her what she was doing with the gifts that were left for us kids and I remembered how crushed I was that she had the nerve to drink Santa's refreshments that I so painstakingly left on a Christmas tray for the other man in my life that I dearly loved other than my Father. She must have known that the gig was up by the look on my face that she had to come up with a good answer. She told me to go back to sleep that Santa was just so busy that she would help him out by arranging the gifts under the tree and drank the milk that I had left so as to make me a true believer in Santa Clause. Thank you Mother for your loving efforts to make the last Christmases Believing in Santa Clause. IT WORKED!
