Melvin Schluter

Mel at Habitat

I did not know you, but gold bless you. your light will shine on, as you enter heven. and thank you for doing your good work. I would like to say, may your family be blessed down here on earth.

To Mel's family--Mel was so special. I was blessed to know him the last two years via Habitat for Humanity. I regret I'll be out of state and will miss Mel's service, but please know my thought and prayers are with your family.

Mel was one in a million. His generous nature, his dedication, his joking nature will be remembered By the countless families, staff and volunteers he touched during his time with Habitat for Humanity.

It was an honor and a privilege to have met Mel. I met Mel while a VISTA at Habitat for Humanity of Dane County. Mel was so respected by the staff and volunteers at HFH. He was a truly great guy and I am so sorry to hear of his passing. He touched so many lives. I know he touched mine.
