Vicki was friends with everyone throughout our school years growing up in Oregon. She was a goo d friend of mine. In this photo I was having a sleep over for my 12th birthday in 1971. My sympathies to Vicki's family. Rest in peace my friend. Julie Rygh Green, Oregon High School Class of 1977.

My thoughts and prayers go out to Vicki's family. I was saddened to learn about Vicki's passing over the weekend. I worked with Vicki for just about 20 years at Metcalfes and she was such a pleasure to be around. Vicki was a positive person who worked hard. She often shared moments of conversation to make customers feel welcome as well as fellow employees. I shared a lot of laughs with Vicki when I worked with her at the Hilldale location. My condolences to Vicki's family.

My boyfriend and I worked with Vicki for 4 years at Metcalfe's and she was always such a great person to go talk to and enjoy a good laugh with. She was always someone that I sought out whenever I could. We have since moved away from the area but would still go and see if she was working whenever we would go back to visit the store. We were fortunate enough to be able to see her in January on our way back home to Iowa and I feel very grateful that she was there that day!! I cannot believe she is gone and count myself extremely fortunate that I was able to meet and spend some time with her. She will indeed be greatly missed and was such a beautiful light in the world!
