In memory of Andy, Andy seemed to me to be a Brother and not a brother in law. Arnie and I are saddened by his death but remember that he believed in a heavenly life. He worked hard to provide for his family and during most of his life he faithfully performed a Corporal Work of Mercy by burying other families loved ones. We believe he looked for the 'better in life and not the bitter'. Love, Mary Clare and Arnie Hatlen

Just got the news this morning. Andy Hollibush was one of the best guys I've ever known. He was so good to everyone and really looked out for us younger guys who worked out and trained at his gym. Andy had a phenomenal sense of humor, and I'm smiling as I write this, just remember all the great times and laughter we had. Over the years I would run into Andy at the Hardware store on Midvale,...and he would light up the place there too! Andy was a good friend and a good man. We'll all miss him very much.

My thoughts and condolences to the Hollibush family on the loss of a truly great man.. Like many others, Andy allowed me into his gym and life many years ago, and I'm a better person for knowing him. His quick wit and welcoming smile made us scrawny kids feel like a part of something special at the old gym. I haven't seen him in years, but will never forget him. Rest in peace, Horse...you will be missed by many.

I had the good fortune to meet and spend time with Andy in the 80s when Bev and I got together.. He was always a cheerful, positive guy and we had some great times together..I remember his gym and even worked out there a few times.. We will always miss and remember him..

Dad, in 1971 while you were in Washington DC at a conference you mailed me a postcard with the statute of Lincoln on it. If you remember it your note was: “Willie, the statue sits like you do when you have a bug in a certain place. I suppose you’re still making the days pass by quickly for everyone with your peculiar wit and charm. Love Dad.” Okay, I laughed about that for a long time and still have that card. Do you remember the time when one of the cats pooped in your work boot? That was funny huh? The love affair Kelsey had with your leg? You had such a way with animals! Through the years I’ve missed our verbal banter - especially those times where we would compete to see who could make teenage Cindy laugh the hardest by roasting each other. You are one of a kind and that has always made me proud. I hope I’m not offending anyone who may read this - Jeff never understood what we were talking about - I know you’re getting a kick out of it. I love you always.
