Obituary

REYNOLDS-MILLER, MARIAN G. LODI-Marian G. Reynolds-Miller, age 94, passed away at Lodi Good Samaritan Society on Monday, March 17, 2014. She was born on January 19, 1920 the daughter of Edward and Meta (Hackbert) Saager. In 1940 she married Joseph W. Reynolds, who preceded her in death in December 1974. In 1976 she married Simon Miller and her family grew to include four stepchildren and their families. Simon preceded her in death in 1993. Marian was an active member of First Lutheran Church and the American Legion Auxiliary. She enjoyed her church, family, reading and flowers. She is survived by four children, Judy Wells of Green Valley, AZ, Nancy (David) Spearing of Portage, WI, Helen (LeRoy) Hebel of Waterloo, WI and Robert (Michele) Reynolds of Slinger WI; grandchildren, Rodney Hebel, Kurt Spearing, Dana Philbin and Nathan Reynolds; three great grandchildren; brother, Melvin Saager and sister, Audrey (Bernie) Kvam. She is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Lawrence Saager; son-in-law, Jack Wells and sisters-in-law, Margaret and Eileen Saager. Funeral Services will be held at FIRST LUTHERAN CHURCH, 206 Pleasant St., Lodi, at 11:00 AM, on Saturday, March 22, 2014 with Pastor Michael Lee presiding. Burial will be in County Line Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:30 AM until 11:00 AM on Saturday at the church. Memorials may be made to the Activity Department at Lodi Good Samaritan Society or to First Lutheran Church. Special thanks to the staff of Lodi Good Samaritan Society for their care of Marian, especially Laura, Abby, Patty, Mary Ann and Janet. We are so sorry for your loss. Even though we hadn't seen Marian in quite a while, we have very fond memories of her and how happy she made Uncle Simon. She was a lovely, gracious lady and know she will missed by all who knew her. Herman and Ginny Miller
