Martens-LaBudde, Judith L. “Judy” MADISON – Judith L. “Judy” Martens-LaBudde, age 56, of Madison, passed away on Monday, May 26, 2014, at St. Mary’s Hospital after a long courageous battle with cancer. She was born on Sept. 2, 1957, in Freeport, Ill., the daughter of George and Mary (Esterly) Martens. She married David LaBudde on April 24, 1982, in Freeport. Judy attended Forreston High, graduated from Southern Illinois University and UW-Madison. She was employed at the West Towne Shopko Pharmacy for more than 30 years and enjoyed reading, sewing, crafts and traveling. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family. She is survived by her husband of 32 years; children, Lorissa and Christopher; her father, George; brother, Mike; numerous other relatives; and a host of friends. She was preceded in death by her mother; and her twin brother, James. Private family services will be held at a later date. Online condolences may be made at www.gundersonfh.com.
