Elbe, Margaret “Marge” (Willegal)
MADISON - Margaret “Marge” (Willegal) Elbe, age 80, of Madison, passed away on Wednesday, Aug. 20, 2014, at St. Mary’s Hospital. She was born on Oct. 16, 1933, in Montello, the daughter of Alex and Irene (Smith) Willegal. Marge married Carl R. Elbe on June 17, 1961, in Madison. Marge was a big supporter of her grandchildren’s activities and sports. She loved going to garage sales and spending time with friends. Marge is survived by sons, Carl R. Elbe Jr. and Kevin Elbe, both of Madison; grandchildren, Alexandra, Drew, Hayley and Ryan Elbe; brother, Joseph (Theresa) Willegal; and sisters, Teresa Furman and Lucille Fenlon. Marge was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Carl Elbe Sr.; and brothers, Bernard “Bernie” and Anthony “Tony”. Private entombment will be at Roselawn Memorial Park. Please accept our heartfelt sympathies for the loss of your mother and grandmother. Marge was a customer as well as a friend. We will always remember her as someone who valued her family. It meant a lot that she entrusted her vehicle maintenance & repairs to us so she could remain independent, help with shuttling the grandchildren & make her rounds to the local garage sales.
