Schuller, Robert “Bob” FENNIMORE/ MONONA – Robert “Bob” Schuller, age 87, passed away on Saturday, Sept. 6, 2014. He was born on June 11, 1927, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the son of John and Celia (Cox) Schuller. On Nov. 23, 1950, Bob married Alice Kreul in Fennimore. He was an Army veteran who served in Korea. Bob worked as an auditor for the state. A kind and caring man, Bob was a wonderful husband and provider for his family. People would say he was the nicest guy they’d ever met. He was athletic, loved sports, golfing and fishing. Bob and Alice were charter members at St. Stephen’s Lutheran Church and participated in many activities. For over 50 years he sang in the church’s choir. Bob is survived by his wife of 64 years, Alice; children, Susan (David) Hanson, David (Rose) Schuller, Daniel (Jane) Schuller and Laurie (Mark) Rundle; grandchildren, Andrew and Nissa Schuller, Dara (Bjorn) Schuller-Hansen and Alexandra and Rebecca Teschan; great-grandchildren, Thor Hansen and Matthew Teschan; three brothers, Dick, Dean (Sue) and Gary Schuller; and two sisters, Maxine Schuller and Phyllis Jerrett. He was preceded in death by his parents; infant daughter, Jennifer Lynn; brothers, John and George “Bud” Schuller; and sister, Ruth Wachuta. Funeral services will be held at ST. STEPHEN’S LUTHERAN CHURCH, 5700 Pheasant Hill Road, Monona, at 11 a.m., on Tuesday, Sept. 9, 2014, with Rev. Nick Utphall and Rev. Tim Hansen presiding. Burial will follow at Highland Memory Gardens. Visitation will take place at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of service on Tuesday. Memorials may be made in Bob’s name to St. Stephen’s Lutheran Church.
