My father died of a massive heart attack in 1964. Orv and Mary Jo were the first non relatives to come and visit me. From that day forward Orv became my surrogate father and I always referred to him as "Pa Nordness". It was always a pleasure to visit him when I came back to Madison for a breakfast or lunch.
Pa Nordness you may be gone but not forgotten.
