Obituary

Trieloff II, Charles Jennings “Jen” MADISON-Charles Jennings “Jen” Trieloff II passed away suddenly on Saturday, Nov. 8, 2014 of a massive heart attack. Jen was born in Madison on Oct. 11, 1971. He was preceded in death by his sister, Kaari, and survived by his wife, Deb, and his two children, Jennings, age 9, and Rachael age 6; his parents, Karen and Gary Gross and Jim and Shelly Trieloff; his sister, Jamie; and his brother, Chris; and countless friends and contemporaries. Jen was one of those remarkable people who had no enemies, only friends. Jen was valedictorian of his high school class, a Summa Cum Laude graduate from Dartmouth University and received his masters of fine arts from the University of Wisconsin. After graduation, he was involved as a scenic designer, properties master, and visiting artist, at the following theatres: Skylight Opera Theatre in Milwaukee, Madison Opera, Madison Repertory Theatre, Madison Ballet, Forward Theatre, Arizona Broadway Theatre, University of Wisconsin Madison, UW Whitewater, and American Players Theatre. He was a member of the Advisory committee of Forward Theatre, designed the themed reception area for the Children’s Dental Health’s Old Sauk Road location, managed the web site for his father’s tour company and was very active in the Cub Scouts. To learn more about this extraordinary young man, simply Google “Jen Trieloff” or “Charles J. Trieloff II”, or refer to the beautifully written article in the Capitol Times. Of all Jen’s accomplishments he was most proud of his role as a father to his two beloved children. He will be missed by all of us who knew and loved him for all or part of his 43 years with us. A Memorial Celebration of Jen’s life will be held at GUNDERSON FITCHBURG FUNERAL HOME, 2950 Chapel Valley Rd., Fitchburg, at noon, on Saturday, Nov. 15, 2014. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 14, 2014, and from 11 a.m. until the time of the service on Saturday. I am truly sorry for the loss of your husband. The pain experienced when we lose someone in death is not an easy thing to deal with. During this difficult time, please turn to the God of all comfort to give you the strength to deal with the difficult days ahead. He sustains us by giving us the hope of seeing our loved ones again on a Paradise earth where sickness and death will be a thing of the past. (Rev. 21:4) As we look ahead to these promises being fulfilled, may his memory remain in your heart.
