MADISON-Evelyn Marie Bethke, age 91, passed away on Friday, January 23, 2015. She was born on July 27, 1923, in Winfred, South Dakota, the daughter of Ernest and Viola Coats. Evelyn was united in marriage to Gerald Bethke on March 22, 1952, in Milwaukee. In addition to her husband, Gerald, Evelyn is survived by her children, Bruce (Kathy) Bethke, Paul Bethke (Natsuyo Aoyama) and Lynne Bethke; three sisters, Mary Schatz, Norma Flore and Rose Feist; two brothers, Will Coats and Robert Coats and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Eva Clement and Ruby Hocking, and a brother James Coats. A Memorial Service will be held at SEBRING ASSISTED LIVING, 7710 S. Brookline Drive, Madison at 11:00 on Saturday, January 31, 2015. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Agrace HospiceCare. Online condolences may be made at www.gundersonfh.com.

It has been many years since we have had contact with Gerry and Evelyn but I would have recognized her anywhere. We are so sorry for your loss but I know you take comfort in the knowledge that she had a very long and happy life. If possible, I would like very much to be contacted by one of the family members as I am Gerry's cousin, the daughter of Chester's sister, Marguerite, and it would be so nice to share some personal information.
