We have had the privilege of meeting Alberta several times through our long friendship with Donna and Bill Jones and family. It was always a fun gathering when Alberta was involved. Knowing from our family's personal experience, It is never easy to cope with the lose of one's mother, even if she has lived for 90-plus years. So, the entire Sawyer Family sends our heartfelt condolences not only to Bill, Donna, and their children and grandchildren, but to the entire Femrite Family. Memories of Alberta will be a life-long treasure for your entire family and the day will come when your memories bring a smile to your face rather than tears. We hope you will find peace knowing that she loved all of you, too. Buzz and Suzie Sawyer and our children, Dawn Walls, Jill Reichard, and Michael Sawyer

I'll remember Alberta sharing a cup of coffee with my mom - always talking about the kids (hers and ours!) Life was much simpler then, taking time to walk to a neighbors house (we were a block away) and just share a part of each other's lives. Our thoughts are with your families Jackie and Donna... So sorry to hear of Albertas passing. She was a dear sweet lady. My mom also lived at Chamomile and was lucky enough to get to know Alberta well. Alberta was such a sweet and caring person towards my mom before her passing a couple years ago, and it is something I will never forget about Alberta. My sympathies to all those who loved and will miss her. Gail Wight

So sorry for your loss. Alberta and my mother (Rena McNamara) were friends and table mates at Chamomile. I enjoyed chatting with your mother and was happy my mother had a friend in Alberta.

I first met Alberta when I was a little boy at Commercial Ave. Grocery. Alberta was always so friendly and nice to me and I thought way back then what a special person she was. She will be missed by all. My sympathy goes out to Donna and the rest of Alberta's family and friends. Dennis Fluckiger
