Nelson, Charles M.
MADISON–Charles M. Nelson, age 36, of Columbus, passed away Saturday, Feb. 28, 2015, at his home. He was born Oct. 8, 1978, in Salt Lake City, Utah, son of Thomas and Ruth Nelson Sr. Charles graduated from Rhinelander High School in 1997. He attended the University of Minnesota and pursued a degree in Mathematics. Charles worked as a computer technician and was a member of the NRA and Stoughton Conservation Club. His hobbies were cooking, computers and shooting competitively. Charles is survived by his parents; and brother, Thomas (Tanya) Nelson Jr. A Celebration of Life will be held at WAUBESA BEACH COMMUNITY CENTER, 4372 3RD St., Madison, WI 53711 (across from Christy’s Landing), from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m., on Saturday, March 7, 2015. I am so sorry Ruth and Tom. I loved Chuck dearly. I remember the many days we would hang out playing D&D or super Nintendo. Those were some of the best days of my life. The hot summer sun and going over to the Nelson's house. I will miss him. A good friend.
