Lueck, James "Loopy" WATERTOWN/COTTAGE GROVE-James "Loopy" Lueck, age 53, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, May 19, 2015, at home. He was born on May 22, 1961, in Watertown, the son of William and Margaret (Hoeffler) Lueck. Loopy graduated from Watertown High School and Madison Area Technical College. He married Mary Nofsinger on Aug. 23, 2003 in Las Vegas, Nev. Loopy was an avid hunter, and lifelong mechanic. He had a huge heart and would do anything for anyone. Loopy is survived by his wife, Mary; mother, Margaret; mother-in-law, Beverly Nofsinger; grandchildren, Ashton Blanton, Timothy Weekley and Connor Jimieson; special son and daughter, Eric and Kari Jimieson; godson, Matt Zangl; and many lifelong friends. He was preceded in death by his father; stepdaughter, Tina Weekley; and father-in-law, Merlie Nofsinger. Funeral services will be held at ABIDING SHEPHERD LUTHERAN CHURCH, 406 W. Cottage Grove Rd., Cottage Grove, at 6 p.m., on Tuesday, May 26, 2015, with the Rev. Nathanael Abrahamson presiding. Visitation will be held at the church from 3 p.m. until the time of the service on Tuesday. Online condolences may be made at www.gundersonfh.com.
