Uncle Ewald was "Daddy" to me for many years and even walked me down the aisle - twice! He was always there when I needed him. I know he is rejoicing right now with God and for that I am truly grateful! Hello to all my cousins who I don't get to see very often and to the Monona Lutheran crew that will always be dear to my heart because it is there that I found the saving grace of Jesus and it has shaped my life ever since.
Love, Jeri (Lytle/Wegner) Pancratz

We are truly blessed to have known Ewald. He was such an interesting person to talk with and he shared such wonderful stories of his time in the service. I know that he will be missed by many, but I also know that he is in such a better place now rejoicing and have a wonderful life without pain or suffering. We will continue to pray for all of you so that soon your grief will be replaced by only the fond memories you have of your dad, grandpa, uncle and friend. Jack & Gloria Lake

I don't know what to say except I thank the Lord for this lovely family that I am now a part of. Dads children, especially Tom, my husband, mean the world to me. I feel blessed with the short time that I had to get to know Dad and I look forward to the future with all the family that I love deeply and cannot imagine my life without. May the Lord give us strength to be the best we can be each and every day of our lives. May you rest in peace Dad🙏 I love you.
