Ainikki "Nikki" R. Stilen

MIDDLETON-Ainikki "Nikki" R. (Lehikoinen) Stilen, age 87, of Middleton, passed away on Wednesday, June 3, 2015.  She was born on November 10, 1927, in Creighton Mine, Canada. Nikki is survived by her children, daughter, Karen (Lawrence) Konick; son, Lawrence (Donna Jean Graffin) Stilen; son-in-law, Steven Schmitt; grandchildren, Jennifer Konick, Jordan Konick, Natalie Schmitt, Steven Graffin, Patrick Graffin, and Connor Graffin; great-grandchildren, Cody Graffin,  Wyatt Graffin, Hallie Graffin, and Molly Graffin; and sister, Vienna (Freeman) Johnson.  She is preceded in death by her parents, Erick and Hilma Lehikoinen, husband, John Stilen; daughters, Kathleen Stilen and Janet Schmitt; sister Elsa Stanek  and brother-in-law, Wesley Stanek.  The family wishes a special thank you to Terri and the staff at Agrace HospiceCare, and to the entire staff at Heritage Middleton for the care and compassion they provided to Nikki. Funeral services will be held at GUNDERSON WEST FUNERAL & CREMATION CARE, 7435 University Ave., Middleton at 12 Noon on Sunday, June 7, 2015. Graveside services will be at 10 AM on Monday, June 8, 2015 at Sunset Memory Gardens.  Visitation will be held on Sunday from 11 AM until the time of the service at the funeral home.
