What can one say of a women so full of life, spunk and pure love, accept that it describes "Aunt" Lucy.
One of my most favorite memory is when she decided I needed to learn to drive a stick, correctly. So we set out. I was told to get into the VW (yellow) bug and she would be right out. Out she comes all right, a "beverage" in one hand and a cigarette in the other, and we were off. After a series of killing, chugging and just plain not going very far, She told me that was enough practice and we were going to take this M.F. (fill in the blanks) out on the road--OMG!! We were going to die with me at the wheel!!!! Within 10 minutes of being on the real road she calmly told me I was doing GREAT and that was all It took. Her confidence in me and her patience was the magic formula. She was the closest person to an Aunt I ever had, and she always made me feel part of her family, no matter how long it was since we had last seen each other. Last Summer, I had a chance to sit and talk with her, Susan and Mary at Rachael's house. We laughed hooted and carried on remembering all the stories and good times. I thank God I got that chance, to tell her I loved her,and spend the afternoon with " Aunt "Lucy. I send so much love to Mark and his wife and girls, Susan, Jeffrey, of course our angel Jane. and all of the rest of the Bruns /Remus family. Love you all. Kristi Hook

Our hearts broke when we heard of Lucy's passing. My family loved 'Grandma Lucy' very much. Lucy will always be remembered as a generous, sweet woman who took care of my dad for 17 years. She will live forever in our hearts and minds. We send our deepest condolences to Lucy's children, grandchildren, sisters and nieces and nephews. May you take comfort knowing that our Angel on earth is now an Angel in Heaven.

I was so sad to hear of Lucy's passing. My condolences go out to the family and a special sadness for Joan and Bob Fritz and their children. She was so fun to be around, I enjoyed the few times that I was around her. She was the life of the party and such a caring person. So sorry to all of you.
Such a sad loss.
